From 1989 to 1991, he was engaged in clinical and scientific work at the Center for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine at the University of Giessen, within the Department of Restorative and Preventive Dentistry. After completing an assistantship in a quality-oriented dental practice in Koblenz, he established his own practice there in 1993. He is a Certified Member of the German Society for Endodontics and Traumatology (DGET) and serves as Coordinator of the DGET Certified Members’ Study Group Cologne.
