Drop-Control Scalpel Blade Holder - Ø 12 mm with One-Hand Ejection Function, Original Design | Helmut Zepf No. 46.007.02
The ZEPF Drop-Control Scalpel Blade Holder (No. 46.007.02) from Helmut Zepf GmbH is a heavier, ergonomic blade holder with a ball-pen style mechanism: pressing the button at the end lifts the blade and pushes it forward so it drops safely into a tray or cup — no fingers near the used blade. After cleaning and sterilization the mechanism resets and a new blade is inserted as usual. This is the original Drop-Control design; 46.007.08 is the newer BIONIK-design version.
