The emergency titanium micro screw Ø 1.9 x 6 mm (Phillips drive) is an osteosynthesis screw of the Helmut Zepf CMF 1.5 system, supplied in a pack of 3. Emergency screws have a slightly larger diameter than the standard screws of the system. If a standard screw does not achieve primary stability — for example in soft bone or a stripped hole — the emergency screw can be placed in the same hole to regain a secure hold.

FAQ

How many screws are in a pack? Each pack contains 3 screws of the same diameter and length. Order multiple packs to stock several positions in your screw rack.

Which drill and screwdriver should I use? Emergency screws are placed in the existing hole of a standard Ø 1.5 mm screw that did not achieve stability, using the CMF 1.5 screwdriver blade.

What material are the screws made of? Medical-grade titanium, anodized for colour coding by diameter. Handling, sterilisation and reprocessing must follow the Helmut Zepf screw instructions for use.
