Every QuickFix working end is a replaceable tip. When a blade is worn, bent or broken, unscrew it and thread in a new one. The handle you know stays in your hand.
Every sharpening removes metal. The blade gets narrower, its shape drifts, and one day it's done. What you throw away next is the difference.
One-piece curette. When the blade is done, the whole instrument goes in the sharps container: handle and both ends.
QuickFix. Replace only the worn tip. The handle and the other working end keep working.
A worn working end doesn't mean a worn-out instrument. Pay only for the end that's worn.

Seat the tip in the Safety Key and hold the handle.
Turn the handle, not the tip. Unscrew the worn tip.
Start the new tip by hand, then snug it with the key.

Do I need the Safety Key to change tips?
We strongly recommend it. The key grips the working end, gives proper torque on the fine thread and keeps your fingers away from the sharp edge.
Which tip fits my handle?
Every QuickFix tip fits every bIONIK, LOTUS and Z-SHAPE Relax QuickFix handle on the same M4 × 0.5 mm thread.
Are handles, tips and keys autoclavable?
Yes. They are designed for standard reprocessing and sterilization cycles. Follow your facility's protocol.
Can I still sharpen a tip?
Yes. Sharpen it like any working end, and replace it when it no longer holds an edge.
