Clinical Use

- Upper centrals, canines, incisors and roots: the beaks are shaped to seat below the cervical line and grip the root, not the crown.
- Seat before you move: push the beaks apically to full contact with the root before applying any luxating movement; a forceps that grips only the crown breaks it.
- Other Zepf forceps lines: diamond-coated Xcision-Line forceps, for a non-slip hold on smooth or fractured roots, and the Roba / exLOG editions, with slimmer, deeper-reaching beaks for roots and difficult extractions, are listed in their own collections.
Care and Reconditioning
