About Dr. Detlef Hildebrand

Dr. Hildebrand began his career as a dental technician in Dortmund, Germany, before studying Dentistry at the University of Freiburg, where he was licensed in 1987. He served as Assistant Physician at the clinic for dental prosthetics in Freiburg under Prof. Dr. J. R.

Strub, and was awarded a doctorate of Dr. med. dent. in 1993. He subsequently became Senior Physician at the same clinic and went on to establish the Department for Implantology at the Charité, Campus Virchow-Klinikum, Clinic for Plastic and Oral Surgery.

Dr. Hildebrand entered private practice in Berlin in 1997. In 2005, he became a Board Member of the European Association of Dental Implantologists (BDIZ EDI e.V.) and was appointed Secretary General in 2007. He holds active memberships in DGZMK, BDIZ EDI, DGI, DGZPW, DGP, DGÄZ, EAO, and AO.
