Collaboration with Helmut Zepf
Helmut Zepf assembled the Basic Surgical Instrument Set according to Prof. Geibel as the instrument set for her basic surgical course, a practice-oriented introductory and refresher course for dentists covering incision and flap techniques, suturing, osteotomy and extraction, apical resection, documentation and hygiene.
Clinical Use
The set covers routine dental surgery: atraumatic luxation and extraction, incision and flap elevation, soft-tissue handling and suturing, socket debridement, bone contouring with rongeurs and bone harvesting with the Bone-Scraper II.
Care and Reconditioning
Clean, inspect and sterilize the instruments after every use following your practice protocol; the washtray and washbasket keep the set together through reprocessing. Our Surgical Instrument Reprocessing & Sterilization Guide covers the general workflow for Helmut Zepf surgical instruments.
