Clinical Use of the English Pattern Extraction Forceps No. 44

Upper Roots: the beaks are shaped to seat below the cervical line and grip the root, not the crown.
Seat before you move: push the beaks apically to full contact with the root before applying any luxating movement; a forceps that grips only the crown breaks it.
Editions: serrated beaks for standard grip, diamond-coated beaks for a non-slip hold on smooth or fractured roots, and the Roba / exLOG editions with slimmer, deeper-reaching beaks for roots and difficult extractions.
