Clinical Uses of the US No. 13

Grooves and slots: cutting retention channels, guide grooves and slots in acrylic, wax and plaster.
Relief and trimming: reducing flat areas and thinning material in denture bases and models.
Separation: parting and sectioning in laboratory work where a narrow kerf is wanted.
