Clinical Use
- Root tip retrieval: the #301 straight and the angled #302/#303 follow the socket wall to the apex and engage the fragment from below.
- Paired left and right: the #190 and #191 are mirror images for mesial and distal access in the posterior segments.
- Technique: light pressure, a finger rest on bone, and rotation rather than leverage; the tips are fine and are not for luxating whole teeth.
Care and Reconditioning
Zepf surgical instruments are resharpened, re-aligned and reconditioned by our sharpening and reconditioning service when the working end dulls. Clean, disinfect and sterilize between patients.
