The adjustable jaws are set to fit over the crown, the tips are moistened with DIATRAC diamond adhesive powder for grip, and the crown is lifted off in a controlled, atraumatic manner without pressure on the root or neighboring teeth. The Economical version omits the thumbscrew detent and retaining spring of the Exclusive set (19.274.00).
