The Periotome Insert P2 with Onyx Coating (No. 26.182.32OX) from Helmut Zepf GmbH is the exchangeable working tip for the ZEPF-Line periotome handle. Periotomes are pulled through the sulcus before elevators or forceps are used to separate the Sharpey's fibers for an atraumatic extraction. The black ONYX coating gives a very hard, sharp-edged surface with excellent contrast and reduced light reflection.
