Design Notes
Nanopal® coating: the black crystalline nano-coating raises surface hardness to 4,500 Vickers — the highly tempered cutting edge stays aggressive and sharp far longer and does not need resharpening after each curettage, while the scratch-resistant black surface is easy to clean and prevents light reflections. The SRC Fig. 3, Long Right working end is a soft-tissue instrument for preparing the papilla in periodontal and plastic periodontal surgery. The ZEPF NANOPAL coating gives a harder surface that holds its edge longer. Replacing the insert alone restores a sharp working end while the handle stays in service.
