Clinical Expertise & Academic Contributions
With more than 25 years of clinical and teaching experience, Dr. Otto Zuhr has built an internationally recognized reputation extending well beyond Europe. His doctoral thesis addressed oral soft tissue reconstruction and soft tissue replacement grafts, and his ongoing research centers on oral soft tissue wound healing and reconstruction.
From 2007 to 2014, he served as a board member of the German Society of Periodontology (DGParo). He also holds an associate professorship at the Department of Periodontology at Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Publications & Education
Dr. Zuhr has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles in periodontology and implant dentistry. He is the co-author of the widely respected book Plastic Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery and regularly lectures at international conferences and educational programs on clinical periodontal and implant surgical techniques.
