The Busch No. 166A 021 – RA is a 2.1 mm (ISO 021) A-Cut, low-vibration carbide taper (cone) pointed bone cutter on a standard latch-type right-angle (RA) shank, sold as a pack of 2. Made in Germany by Busch & Co. GmbH, it fits slow-speed contra-angle handpieces and is the standard-length counterpart to the 166A 021 RA-L.

Why choose the RA version

Choose the RA shank when the surgical site is readily accessible and you want the 2.1 mm A-Cut head as close to the contra-angle as possible for stability — typical for alveoloplasty or bone smoothing after extractions in a low-speed latch handpiece. The compact working length gives good tactile control; the RA-L extends reach for posterior sites and the HP transfers the same head to a straight handpiece.

Also available: No. 166 021 – RA, No. 166A 021 – HP, No. 166A 021 – RA-L, No. 166 021 – RA-L.
