The Busch No. 21 010 – RA (US No. 57) delivers a 1.0 mm (ISO 010) flat-end carbide cylinder fissure head on a latch-type right-angle (RA) shank for slow-speed contra-angle handpieces. It is the low-speed counterpart to the 21 010 FG and is supplied as a pack of 6, manufactured in Germany by Busch & Co. GmbH.

Why choose the RA version

Running a 1.0 mm cylinder at low speed in a latch contra-angle is typically favoured for controlled dentine work — finishing cavity floors and walls, removing residual caries near the pulp with more tactile feedback than a turbine allows, and small-scale preparation adjustments. The RA shank locks securely into standard slow-speed handpieces; for high-speed enamel cutting the No. 57 is also available as an FG bur.

Also available: No. 21 012 – RA, No. 21 010 – FG, No. 21 012 – FG, No. 21 016 – FG, No. 21 016 – HP, No. 21R 014 – HP, No. 21R 014 – FG.
