This Onyx-coated replacement insert is the left/right curette end for the Helmut Zepf bIONIK Combination Instrument 24.748.38OX (Lucas scraper and left/right curette). It is used alongside the Lucas scraper to clean the extraction alveolus and remove granulation tissue from angled walls. The ONYX coating gives a very hard, impact-resistant, non-reflective black surface with excellent sliding properties; cutting edges stay sharp far longer and re-sharpening is no longer required.
