The DiaTwister is a one-piece stainless steel instrument with internal cooling slits for wet or dry work. Clinical Use
Busch's grit guide: mega coarse for thick horn callus, super coarse for hard callus, coarse for incipient callus and coarse nail work, medium for callus and nail smoothing, and fine for delicate treatment of skin and nails. Choose a head size that covers the callus without touching healthy skin, keep the instrument moving and use light pressure. For corns, a small round or taper head lets you work precisely into the center.
Care and Reprocessing
Clean, disinfect and sterilize Busch podiatry burs after every patient following Busch's reprocessing instructions and the symbols on each pack; use a bur stand so cutting edges never touch. Never exceed the maximum speed printed on the pack, and run larger heads slower than small ones, especially when working dry. The DiaTwister's internal cooling slits are designed for wet or dry technique. FG turbine diamonds run only in turbines with cooling water.
