Busch podiatry diamonds are marked by ring: two black rings mega coarse, black super coarse, green coarse, no ring medium, red fine and yellow extra fine. Busch lists mega coarse for thick horn callus, super coarse for hard callus, coarse for incipient callus and coarse nail work, medium for callus and nail smoothing, fine for delicate treatment of skin and nails, and extra fine for the finest skin work and pre-polishing nails.
Care and Reprocessing
Clean, disinfect and sterilize Busch podiatry burs after every patient following Busch's reprocessing instructions and the symbols on each pack; use a bur stand so cutting edges never touch. Never exceed the maximum speed printed on the pack, and run larger heads slower than small ones, especially when working dry. No. Busch specifies FG turbine diamonds, including Cool-Diamant, for turbines with cooling water only.
